This collection consists mainly of sound recordings of Henry Miller and his friends from 1949-1971. Some recordings of particular interest include the recording of a party attended by Miller, Robert and Edith Fink, Bernard Wolfe and Delores Michaels. On this tape Henry Miller tells an anecdote about meeting Charlie Chaplin in Switzerland. Another is an interview with Miller done by Bernard Wolf. Also, there is one photgraph of Henry Miller and Edith Fink. A recording of violinist Jascha Heifetz is included as well.

Violinist Jascha Heifetz was born on Feb. 2, 1901, in Vilnius, Lithuania. He studied violin with Leopold Auer at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. He embarked on an international career in 1912, became an American citizen in 1925, and continued to concertize and record until 1972. He died in Los Angeles on Dec. 10, 1987.
